Open Command Prompt, paste the command, then follow the installer and first-run setup.

The installer checks the release package before it installs anything.

Paste the command into a terminal. The verified installer puts Inventatory in ~/.local/bin/inventatory.

Use Settings → Updates in Inventatory. The updater shows release notes, downloads the package, verifies its published hashes, and hands off to the installer.

A public Scan R1 firmware release and assembly package have not been verified. Use the scanner documentation to understand the existing desktop integration and its setup requirements.

Source code and license

The desktop application is published under GPL-3.0-only. Build instructions and developer documentation live with the source.
